Elon Musk said on Saturday that Tesla’s Terafab project will launch in seven days.
Musk said last year Tesla would probably have to build “a gigantic chip fab” to make AI chips. Musk did not provide details on location, capacity, or a timeline beyond those comments.
If built, the fab would mark a move into chip fabrication.
