LG Electronics will deepen partnerships with Nvidia and Google as it pushes further into home robotics, executive Lyu Jae-cheol said in a LinkedIn post. He noted the company has accumulated nearly 70 years of lifestyle data from home appliances and customer service.

LG acquired Bear Robotics last year and works with its affiliate Robostar to strengthen industrial and professional service robotics capabilities.

Lyu said the company is expanding investments in Figure AI and collaborating with the Chinese humanoid company, AgiBot to accelerate software and hardware development.

He added LG is using Google Gemini for contextual understanding and Nvidia’s Isaac Platform to train and test robots in digital twin environments.

According to Lyu, the roadmap begins with commercial and professional service robots and will evolving home appliances into robotic solutions to orchestrate the home.
