Major Middle East events have been postponed or canceled after the regional conflict raised safety and travel concerns, organizers and event teams said.
TOKEN2049 Dubai has been postponed to April 21–22, 2027, while TON Gateway Dubai was canceled.
Formula 1 races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are expected to be canceled due to safety risks, pending formal confirmation by Formula 1 and the FIA, while later races such as Qatar and Abu Dhabi are still scheduled.
The disruptions hit trade shows and sports in the UAE, with Middle East Energy shifted to September, and Affiliate World Global postponed to 2027.
The cancellations also affect cryptocurrency firms that sponsor F1, as exchanges including Binance, and Coinbase have used race exposure to reach Gulf audiences.
