The AI Day 2026 forum on Sunday featured four keynote presentations from diverse perspectives of policymakers, education administrators, media leaders, and innovation promotion organizations, providing a comprehensive overview of how artificial intelligence is being shaped, deployed, and applied in Vietnam.
AI Day 2026 is designed as a forum that connects the AI community in Vietnam, bringing together policymakers, education leaders, technology companies, and leading experts to share strategic perspectives, practical experiences, and initiatives that leverage AI for socio-economic development.
It also sought to connect a network of people interested in AI, promoting multi-faceted discussions about the impact and potential applications of this technology on socio-economic life.
The event was co-organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology, STEAM for Vietnam, AI for Vietnam, the US Embassy in Vietnam, and Meta.
Vietnam has achieved significant progress in AI as it is ranked 3rd globally in AI trust and 5th in AI adoption, while attracting over 80 million USD in AI investment in 2025. National AI Strategy 2030 aims to place Vietnam among the top three countries in Southeast Asia for AI research.
