ByteDance is rolling out Dreamina Seedance 2.0, an AI audio- and video-generation model, inside its CapCut editing app, starting with users in Southeast Asia and Latin America.
The company said the tool can generate and sync video and audio from text prompts, images, or reference clips, and will support up to 15-second videos.
The limited release follows a paused a broader rollout as ByteDance addressed intellectual property concerns over alleged copyright infringement.
ByteDance said the model is already available in China via its Jianying app, will also come to its Dreamina and Pippit platforms, and will add safeguards, including blocking generation from real faces and applying an invisible watermark to AI-made content.
