Hyundai Motor said it will expand local production and tailor strategies by region while pushing to become an AI-driven technology company, as it faces tariff pressure and supply chain risks.

Hyundai sold around 4.1 million vehicles last year, with revenue at a record 186.3 trillion won (US$123.7 billion) and operating profit of 11.47 trillion won (US$7.61 billion).
He also pointed to work with Nvidia on AI technologies and robotics, saying the company wants to apply AI to how vehicles are built and operated.
