Meta has released TRIBE v2, an AI model designed to predict human brain activity from sights, sounds, and language, along with its paper, code, model weights, and an interactive demo.
The company said the model was trained on fMRI scans from more than 700 healthy volunteers who viewed images, listened to podcasts, watched videos, and read text.
Meta said TRIBE v2 can make “zero-shot” predictions for new subjects, languages, and tasks, and claimed it improves resolution by about 70x vs. similar approaches.
The model and code are available under a Creative Commons BY-NC license, which allows reuse with attribution for noncommercial purposes.
