Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is launching Meta Small Business, a company-wide initiative to support entrepreneurship and encourage the use of AI tools, according to an internal post.
Zuckerberg invited product managers, designers, engineers, and other staff to volunteer to work on the effort.
More than 250 million small businesses globally use Meta across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, and Zuckerberg wrote that “in the AI era, it should be easier than ever for people to build new businesses.”
The initiative will be led by senior executives, including Meta president and vice chair Dina Powell McCormick, and head of product Naomi Gleit.
