Meta said it will test an AI-powered shopping pop-up on Facebook and Instagram that summarizes user reviews.
The company announced the test at Shoptalk 2026 and said the feature will surface “what people are saying” in a short overview that can include bullet points.
Meta said the pop-up can also show brand information, recommended items, possible discounts, and an add-to-cart button, alongside an in-app checkout flow built with Stripe and PayPal.
Meta also said it is expanding creator affiliate options on Facebook with partners including Amazon, eBay, and Temu in the US; Mercado Libre in Latin America; and Shopee in Asia, while Instagram will test similar features and open Reels creators to product catalogs from businesses in 22 countries.
