MSC Cruises is rolling out a major expansion of its onboard entertainment portfolio for 2026, introducing AI-powered robotics, new original game shows, refreshed production performances and expanded brand partnerships across its fleet.

AI Robotics Debut at Sea

MSC Cruises is piloting AI-powered robotic dogs — accompanied by humanoid robots — developed by Unitree Robotics. The initiative is currently being tested aboard MSC Bellissima and will expand to additional sailings in Asia, as well as select segments of the 2026 World Cruise aboard MSC Magnifica.

Programming will include guest meet-and-greets, robot-themed parades and interactive workshops for children ages seven and older, introducing robotics and future technologies through hands-on activities and entertainment integration, including appearances during the line’s Doremix Family Disco.

Refreshed Production Shows and Live Music

MSC is also updating several signature entertainment offerings fleetwide.

A redesigned ’70s Party will launch across the fleet in 2026, featuring new music programming, enhanced costumes and more interactive elements.

Dirty Dancing: In Concert.

MSC Poesia will debut 20 new Big Band performances and introduce Dirty Dancing: In Concert. Meanwhile, MSC Seaview and MSC Grandiosa will unveil refreshed main production shows, and MSC Meraviglia will reintroduce the flamenco production Paz.

On MSC Seascape, new additions will include Dueling Pianos and a live American country band concept aimed at expanding genre diversity in onboard music programming.

Original Game Shows and Expanded Programming

Two new MSC-produced game shows — Chart Toppers, a music-themed competition spanning hits from the 1970s to today, and Quiz O’Clock, a reimagined take on traditional cruise trivia — will debut across the fleet.

Family programming will also see expansion through enhanced partnerships. The LEGO Parade will double its footprint from seven to 14 ships in 2026, while a digital-first LEGO Family Game Show will launch fleetwide following a pilot aboard MSC World America.

Additionally, MasterChef at Sea will introduce refreshed formats for adults, teens and children.

Enrichment and Professional Coaching Expansion

MSC’s Professional Coaches Program — covering sports, wellness and arts and crafts — will expand to 15 ships in 2026 after a successful pilot phase.

On MSC Poesia, guests will also see an expanded Naturalist Program featuring wildlife and geology presentations, along with enrichment sessions tailored for children. The cruise line will further roll out Ocean Day by the MSC Foundation fleetwide, an educational program focused on marine awareness and sustainability.
